Ivory Tower

Even though I will be creating the tower within the image, I will not go into massive amount of detail for the tower. I will however have pieces of detail which are of relevants. Even though I have created thumbnail images to help me with my layout, I still need to create an image which can resemble the "Ivory Tower". Therefore in the images below I have used mood boards and reference pictures to find styles and ideas I could use for the tower itself.

The first image below was a selection of shells which I found to be very fascinating and relevant to the building I will be creating. I want to create the tower from a type of shell. My first idea would be to create the base of the building from a basic shell, maybe a nautilus shell. Then use a spiral shell as the main shaft for the tower which is sprouting from the bottom shell and rising above the clouds.

Each of the shells above have been picked for my reference because they are being used as relevant material to this concept. Further down the post I will be using more images which I found to be unusual and helpful in creating a basic but good "Ivory Tower" which will sit in the image.
