winsor MCcay, this was a very talented man who was the creator of the character Little Nemo. MCcay was one of the first known men to actually try to turn animation into an art form. He created "4000" drawings each showing differet movements of Little Nemo which would later be added together to make a complete animation.
After he was complete, MCcay showed it at the Hammerstein Theatre in New York in 1911 were it became a massive hit.
