Getting In touch with perspective

In the last few weeks I have decided my concepts are looking much better than what I had come up with in the previous weeks of the course. This has something to do with looking at others works and researching through many books. Some of the things I had been struggling on throughout the project with the perspective of some of my images. Although I have improve massively within my life drawing classes, drawing a model is much different to designing a concept for an environment. Something that has helped me in the past week is drawing. What I basically mean is that i have been using my sketchbook to expirement with lines trying to work out perspective of an object. Below I have added a number of images which I found showed a good quality of perspective.

I really like this image because I feel that it represents and shows a good sense of perspective allowing the viewer to see where everything is in the image and its scale. I also just like the image for what it is, the architecture and the colors.

 

This second image is not a painting but a photograph. I still think this image is very effected and inspirational because it shows as much perspective as the image before. If you take a closer look at the image then you can just make out people in the background which shows the scale of the image really well. My main focus of the perspective though is the way in which the many taxis line up to create this effect, same as the bridge.

 

This is the image I get excited about. This image is what I would call insane! The image which is painted upon the pavement allows the viewer to look down through the image making it believable that there is a passage way to hell. This is a brilliant use of perspective, something I find very inspiring.
