Fantastica in Danger - Part 2

Okay guys, been doing some more rough sketches based on my perspective of the chapter I read, Fantastica in Danger. I keep visualising a very dark and boggy magical forrest which are surrounded by strange flowers, wildlife, Crazy mushrooms and all things of strange woodland life. For my reference to this crazy and unusual wildlife I looked into alot of wildlife and survival books which I had at home. Below I have drawn a few sketches, some very quick and others more defined. This I have done so I can put any breakthrough or idea onto paper, helping me bring my imagination to life.

These first two images I sketched up in less than five minutes, but to me they are still as relevant as the ones which took more time.

The images above are two sketches I had in my mind when i was reading through my material. Even though these are not the main parts of the scene, what I wanted to do was get a broad idea of the whole landscape could look like. By doing this I think it may help me create and define my final piece of work.

The next two images, like the ones above are rough images of windy night scenes which I have for the same reason as the ones above.

This is the image i took a little bit more time on, I have got to go now so keep posted on this and ill explain more very soon, dont be alarmed this is not finished. :)

The image above was a piece I was using to create a forest scene for my final concept piece. The piece above shows a dark forest which amomgst a mystical woodlands.

On updating this post I wanted to point out that it was my first time using a graphics tablet. The main aim of the image below was an expirement to how I could create trees and other foliage for the woodlands concept.

I used multiple brushes to try and create these images.

I quite like the two images above. I really look foward to using the tablet more and to create the final piece.
