The short series of T.V animations called, "Give Up Yer Aul Sins" is a selection of recordings from young children re-telling old bible stories to their classroom teacher. The content of the recordings is used is then edited and made into a five minute animation in the style of a documentary.
Brown bag studios who are behind "Give Up Yer Aul Sins" were Oscar nominated for this short, which was aired at over fifty film festivals, such as Cannes film festival, Aspen film festival, Cork film festival and many more where they even won their nominations.

What makes this animation a successful is the child's interpretation. Often poem's such as 'Footprints in the sand' are a little too straight forward and well known to make good animations. Particularly in the case of religion. Often a left handed approach can give you the way in you need.
