Okay, whilst doing an essay on Sin City during the space project I came across something which relates to this Storyboard essay. Whilst looking into 'The Making Of Sin City' I found that the films comparison too the graphic novels were near identical. 'Frank Miller' explained how when 'Robert Rodriguez' proposed the adaptation of the comic to the movie, 'Miller' instantly decided that this must go ahead.
The three images above are screen shots from the movie plus images from the comics which they used as thier storyboard guide to produce the film.
In this video there is a quick comparison of a scene with the character 'Marv' from the comic/film. In this reel of still images you are able to see were they got their Pre-Production images to make the final image for the film.
