La jetee

I must say, this short film was actually very interessting and also very cleverly made. I can honestly admit that I have never seen a film completly made from still images, I must say that I am rather quite impressed.

La Jetee was released in the UK in 1962, Directed and Written by 'Chris Marker'.

The plot of 'La Jetee takes place in different time periods. The setting of the movie changes from past, present and future. The future beholds the end of the world war three and the destruction that it has caused. It is the mans story that we follow, travelling back and forth between timelines trying to find a soloution into the worlds fate.
