Character Design - Theodore - The Hero(Anamorphic Form)

I havent really been keeping up to date with my blog lately because I have had other problems and issues which unfourtuantly have taken up quite a bit of my time. Hopefully now I can get on with the project without any problems and produce good work for both projects.

Now, for my hero I have been designing a character based on our feline friend, which is the cat. I wanted my character to be nimble, I wanted him to start off as the character from the real world but then find confidence in himself which will help him overcome his fears and defeat the evil throughout the kingdom.

The First Set of drawings in the image above were basic sketches which  I had drawn to create a feeling for my main hero. I was working on basic shapes which involved circles and squares which I used to develop how my hero would look like. I liked how the characters striped would become part of the final design for the characters outfit, this is why in the shaded version in the image below shows which direction I wanted to develop it to.
